Mary Kay Event!

I attended a Mary Kay event last night in Cerritos. I was invited by Jessica Wilbur. I met her at my work Whole Foods. She and her colleagues were very nice. They were also supportive of my business. I got some new business and make-up! Thank you Jessica!
 

Sunny Day!

These cupcakes are dipped in chocolate ganache. Then decorated with a chocolate sandwich cookie and buttercream. I made these at work.

Super Hero Power!

This is a cake I did for a friend. It was for his three year old son. It was a super hero theme party. Happy 3rd Birthday Ethan!

Shark Attack!

This is a cake I made at work today. It's sculpted from angel food cake and decorated with buttercream. We had a ocean theme a few weeks ago and a customer special ordered it. 

Autumn and JD's Wedding Cake

Congratulations!

I was so honored to have taken part in the making of your wedding cake.

The cake was four-tiered. 

The Groom's cake and second tier were chocolate cake layered with orange and yellow Bavarian cream.  

The chocolate cake was special because it had Wilbur's Cocoa in it! Wilbur, PA is  JD's home town. 

The third tier was yellow cake with fresh peaches. 

Lastly, the bottom tier was vanilla cake colored orange with a lemon cream cheese mousse. 

The flowers are Gerber Daises. 

The event was absolutely beautiful.

Other Cakes I've made.

This is a rose bouquet I made for Mother's day. 

 This a cake I made in decorating class, the branches and flowers are made out of gumpaste.

 This cake was made for Rio San Gabriel Elementary School.

It was for the Breast Cancer Relay For Life Walk.

 I made this cake in class, just a simple square cake frosted with fudge icing and decorated with flowers made out of royal icing.

This is a fondant covered hat cake I made for class.

 This is a simple cake made for St. Jude hospital as a donation for the Cakes for Cancer Drive.

This is a cake I made for my Moms friends for their birthdays.

The banner is made out of chocolate. The cake is iced with whipped cream and sprinkled with almonds, and drizzled with chocolate. Surrounded by hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries drizzled with white chocolate.

 This is a cake I helped my friend Terry make for his sister.

This is a black forest dessert I made for our color guard reunion!

This is a lemon cream cheese cake I made.

I like it because it's simple and sweet.

Things I'm Working on Now

This week I'm working on a wedding cake for my friends, Autumn and JD. I went to high school with Autumn and I'm really excited that they've asked me to make their cake! I'm gonna be working hard to get it done by the wedding this weekend! I'm so excited to see how it turns out and I can't wait for you guys to see the end result!

This is a Thomas the Train Cake for little Christopher's 1st birthday

and now,  a Spongebob Squarepants cake for  a customer,

the cake is airbrushed to give it that "cartoony" feel

this is a Super Mario cake made for my teacher-friend, Kendras, son Brady

the Mario and Luigi figures are made from Gumpaste along with the stars, mushroom, and other little figures. The cake itself is iced with colored buttercream.

Okay, I know this isn't a character cake, but it's adorable. 

This was made for a friend's granddaughter on her 3rd birthday. 

It has Gumpaste daisies, ribbon and butterflies.

Hello World!!!!!

I'm so excited! I just started my new blog! This is my first post! I can't wait to get this thing rolling so everyone can see my cakes!
